Lucifer and Satan... One and the Same?

I don't believe they were different, but after more research I found that they are really 2 different names for the same entity or aspects of the same entity or force. Lucifer means light bringer and Satan means adversary. Both these descriptions apply to the entity/force/archetype we Luciferians or Satanists seek connection with are the same entity. I can even prove it to you all.

The names Lucifer and Satan in later Hebrew and in Christian beliefs, the supreme spirit of evil, who for immeasurable time has ruled over a kingdom of evil spirits and is in constant opposition against jehovah for the mass murders that he caused. The word Lucifer and Satan is derived, via the ecclesiastical Latin word diabolus, from the Greek word diabolos, an adjective meaning ‘'slanderous,” used also in ancient Greek as a noun to identify a person as a slanderer. The term was used in the Greek translation of the Bible, the Septuagint, not to refer to human beings, but rather to translate the Hebrew ha-satan (“the satan”), an expression originally used as the title of a member of the divine court who functioned as jehovah's roving spy, gathering intelligence about human beings from his travels on earth. Because aspects of this heavenly figure were probably drawn from experience with agents of ancient Middle Eastern royal secret services, it is not surprising that the word "SATAN" should also be seen as a character who attempts to provoke punishable sedition where he finds none, thus acting as an adversary for jehovah and the human beings on earth, bent on separating them from jehovah due to Satan seeing jehovah killing the people of the earth and Satan rebelling against jehovah for the mass killings and genocide by flood, plague and famine ect. In all speculation about Satan, the major problem being addressed is that of the origin and nature of EVIL, (q.v.).
Minding you that Satan rebelling against jehovah was because he did not see killing innocent people of the earth just because they deified jehovah and Satan ask the other ark angels of heaven to join him in his fight against jehovah's mass genocide murders and most of them did. Even tho they new they were out numbered 10 to 6 against jehovh's top arch angel Michael. However the rest of the angel's who turned against jehovah
for the slayings are the one's we now know today by names like Satan and hells army listed respectfully in order below.

And many, many more joined Satan in the fight against jehovah!.

In later Jewish tradition, and thus also in early Christians thought, the title becomes a proper name; Satan begins to be seen as an adversary not only to jews and Christian beings but also—and even primarily—of jehovah. This development is probably a result of the influence of Persian dualistic philosophy, with its opposing powers of good (Ormazd) and evil (Ahriman). But in both Jewish and Christian systems, the dualism is always provisional or temporary, the devil being ultimately subject to jehovah. In the writings of the Qumran sect the devil AKA Satan emerges as Belial, the Spirit of Wickedness against Jews and Christian but that's what Jewish tradition and Christian thought of Lucifer, Satan in witch are the same demon.

In some strains of rabbinic thought, Satan is linked with the “evil impulse to fight jehovah for the genocide agenst man kind,” which is thus personified to some degree. This personification is a Jewish form of the widespread and ancient assumption that human beings can be subjected to malevolent forces distinct from their conscious minds. Thus, both in Judaism and in Christianity the belief is found that human beings can be “possessed” by the devil or by his subordinates, the demons. Only a true follower of Satan will never be attacked by any of Satan and Satan's underworld demons.
Since it is an unholy war against jehovah and christianity and their beliefs only. Satanist will never be harmed by “possession or possesed” by demons. Satan sees christianity and Jews as a evil foe and Satan and his subordinates, the demons will only possess and attack people who are Jews and christians. This has been proven time and time again and history even proves this to us.

Perhaps the core of Satan teaching about jehovah and about the Christians is that Jesus Christ tried to brake the grip he and jehovah and his Jewish people faced by demons have on the whole of Jewish humanity (the “possession” of some is a symptom of the general domination of all Jewish and christians alike ), and that in the crucifixion the devil AKA Satan and his henchmen, working their worst on all Jewish and christians, were doomed, paradoxically, to ultimate defeat by jehovah. Also known as paradise lost due to jehovah and due to jehovah we as people and Satanist must suffer due to jehovah as a sick genocide mass murder that he is and will always be!...

In the Middle Ages the devil played important roles in art and in folklore, being almost always seen as an evil, impulsive animal-human with a tail and horns, sometimes accompanied by subordinate devils. The thought that the latter could take up residence in human beings served more frequently to differentiate the possessed from the normal than to indicate something about the state of all humanity in the world today as we see it.

The complexity, mystery, and corporate nature of evil have caused some thinkers to believe that a place must be found for the devil even in modern thought. J.L.Ma., J. LOUIS MARTYN, M.A., Ph.D.

in my belief, and this is in my belief, satan was the brash and brutal brother of Lucifer, the light bearer, the calm and wise. Therefore there is both darkness and light.

I hate to break it to ya but not everything you google or watch on television is true. Sometimes you have to sort out the truth in the mess that it comes with.

This became my question 10 months ago. There is so much more info. I find it depends on what you are reading so many people go out of their way to prove points I think one should never settle for one rendition. But for the most part most of my findings are that they are not one in the same.

First looking I found the Romans had a Luciferian worship where they worshiped the morning star "Lucifer", which later became what is now known as Venus.
I find that many descriptions of Lucifer seem to also carry the attributes Jesus. I have found that later like in the 2nd century or so there was another luciferian worship later to further instill fear an maintain control of the people it was called satanism when it was not.
I find it for me becomes a bit confusing when you get to the time period of Albert Pike some writings refer to him as a satanist, I have found a writing where Pike deems Satanism herersy an claims Lucifer to be true god of light an Adonay the true god of evil. He goes a step further in saying Lucifer an Adonay are the same, Pike has to me an interesting view of Lucifer/Adonay. But Pike makes clear that Satan an Lucifer are not the same. For me there is no solid history for Lucifer. It seems Lucifer has been seen in so many different ways there seems no historical consistancy ....... but that is only my opinion taken from various places, it is not my intent to present anyting as fact only personal opinion.
