My dictionary--which seems somehow to differ from that being used by the American media and general populace--defines "liberal" as; 1. open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values; 2. favoring maximum individual liberty in political and social reform; and 3. As I watch Barack Obama's relationship with his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, blow up in his face this week, it has me thinking again about God and the American political scene.

Is it just me, or are the blogs and postings of late getting randier and randier? Must be spring, or perhaps the subconscious advent of Easter (all those bunnies and eggs). Between Lili's discussion of her menstrual cycles, Varick's shamless flirting, and Val waxing poetic about love, women, and sex, I feel as if I have stumbled into a Satanic "Temptation Island" (oh and aren't they all, really).
