Do you approach your magick in an athiestic, polytheistic, pantheistic, or monotheistic way?

What are your results from this?

My most successful magical workings were always centered around Palo Voodoo practices, I just don't have the kind of luxury to go all the way with it and acquire my skull and nails and dust. So loosely associated "spirit" magic. Neither atheistic or monothesitic, but energy based.

My gods are many, my gods are few, and they are none. I walk into it believing, and walk away disbelieving. With great faith, comes great doubt, and with that comes great magic(k). I find the best results happen when I place myself in between that grey area of neutrality.

I would have to go with serp on this one when I do a working I suspend disbelief, so within the time of the working the gods exist for all intents and purposes. I wouldn't call it polytheistic, monotheistic or even atheistic, but rather I would call it...convienant. The last time I done a working it was using simple chant that I may hit the lottery and it worked, but I didnt end up hitting, because i was trying to decide which last digits i wanted. needless to say I didnt pick the one i had a gut feeling about, so when the numbers came out it was all the original numbers I had. To this day I wished i had added those original last four...the one I played was for the big bucks.

I guess I could say that I approach mine in a pantheistic way, as if all gods and goddesses must pass through me, so I can gain spiritual transformation through my magick.
