I think people waste an aweful lot of time worrying about politics. The reason politics are a waste of time is because someone will rule you no matter what, from bosses, to friends, to cops, to politicians. It has always been this way because primitive man feels a "need" to rule. Primitive man also "needs" sex. Living life solely based on instincts, is not much of a life at all >In My Opinion<. I have mentioned this in numerous other posts that smart, level-headed, logical people are capable of governing themselves. The only people that need government are victims, warriors, idiots, and sheep.

I say this because of the second sentence in that top paragraph. NO MATTER WHAT, someone will always rule you. So these policies and acts and petitions are basically pointless right? If Senate does what they concur on, then does it matter what you think or feel about certain issues?

I could answer that for you but you would have to first be honest with yourself, and realize most of you enjoy being ruled. You declare yourselves Republican, Liberal, or Democrat. Look at how much pride you've invested in your political title, like what you do vote on makes any bit of difference in the world. But we have lost something....Our Forefathers.

They didn't envision a world run by tyrants, in fact, that was something they all could agree on. That the government should work for the people, not against it. And this is what your government is doing today. Working against the hard working people that run it, tell you it's okay to step on the little man, pacify you with their media, and spoon feed you bullshit every day. If this is your idea of a good time, of a perfect country, or a fair country, you obviously don't pay attention to the world around you. Shit aint so nice round here :P

As I always feel a year after someone I vote for gets in, betrayed. Which is one reason among others why I'm walking from the system. There is a saying, "A Democrat is just a Republican in a cheaper suit."

Almost a year in office we are still at war, unemployment is still on the rise, the economy is still flat lined and this health care debate is a joke. The House and Senate have been on alomst a one year vacation, nothing has been done while they supposedly argue about heath care. Government is the best paying scam there is. This is to be expected though underthe direction of a president that while in the senate voted PRESENT, 80 % of the time. For those of you that don't know Congress and the Senate have three voting options Yea, Nay or Present. Present having zero value and not counting at all. You can research Obama's voting history easy enough. He did nothing as a senator and so far as president he just flaps his gums a whole lot.

This country is still at war, because the psychopathic leaders need to satisfy their blood lust not to mention their greed and the demonising of a certain segment on the otherside of the road again to deflect and distract.
