I have not to step on any satanist or friend's of main.I have read and looked up a lot of satanic killing's and satanic ritual abuse.I think IT ALL BULLSHIT but this ? as bin thrown back and forth throw every year after year.I think it a christion's playing a fucked up joke and it getting fucken veary old.
"The Devil made me do it" has always been a cop out for some criminals, and yes, there are people who do commit crimes under the umbrella of satanism. That's a very sad truth and it's no small wonder that we are feared and reviled. The very best way to combat the stereotype is to maintain our dignity and self respect and to uphold our own ideals and stay true to our convictions. It is my personal belief that blood sacrifices are archaic, barbaric, and unnecessary. I would like to think that as satanists of this era we have risen above those practices and hopefully are a little more responsible. However, those of you who might engage in ritual sacrifice, may you live in interesting times.
I believe Lavey put it best (and where in TSB he put it, I don't recall but it is early in the book) that if the spell caster/sorcerer/warlock is not brave enough to use his own blood in a blood rite, then he has no business doing it at all.
We have blood rites?? I didn't know that! I believe you may be referring to page 87, "The fact of the matter is that if a "magician" is worthy of his name, he will be uninhibited enough to release the necessary force FROM HIS OWN BODY, instead of from an unwilling and undeserving victim!"
"Contrary to all established magical theory, the release of this force is NOT effected in the actual spilling of blood..."
I never interpreted this that way, as it seemed he was advocating using emotional energy, such as in orgasm, anger, terror, grief and such as the focal point for the release of such energies. He goes on to say that any sort of 'sacrifice' would be purely symbolic, in nature.
If I'm reading the wrong pages, feel free to correct me here.

Unfortunately some people did believe all the tabloid kind of stuff, even though it is obvious to look at it with a logical mind and see that is bullshit. I think it caught on because some people like to blame others for their emotional issues.
There are morons in every group, and unfortunately we must stay on our toes to ensure that people know that these mental fucktards in no way embody the spirit of Satanism.
its bullshit because one or two fucked up people who called them sevles satanists they think that all satanists do but thats the same as like a jewish person killing someone and then thinking that all jews are murderers
I look at it like this. How many times in the last few years have you seen a satanist on the news for murder, child molesting, etc? But there's not a day that goes by that you don't see self-proclaiming xtians on the news for these violent crimes. Yes, there are a few individuals who have tried to use satanism as a scape goat to get a insanity plea, David Berkowitz for example, otherwise known as the son of sam. He admitted that he was not a satanist after realizing that route wasn't going to save him in court. Look at the Satanic Panic. That was eventually proven to be complete bullshit! Had absolutely NOTHING to do with satanists, but xtians committing crimes and trying to frame satanists. Fact of the matter is, xtians have always had the highest body counts, and always will have. It's not satanists that the world should fear, it's the followers of the right handed path that they should fear!
I argue that there are christian human sacrifices, and that the practice is occurs right now but is socially accepted. Ritual killings were done to restore or encourage a "good" balance: the death penalty is used to restore and encourage a "good" balance.
A psychopath generally will not say the devil made them do it, they rationalize it and have no shame in the act (to blame the devil divorces yourself from the act, which is not something a serial killer would usually do). To attribute their acts to satanism isn't just stupid, but not even close to the mental state of the perpetrator. Criminologist would laugh in the face of anyone who pulled this punch.
I watched a documentary on Satanism, and it eventually admitted that for EVERY case that claimed to have "Satanic" involvement, no proof had EVER been discovered. I question if it may not be x-tians, portraying themselves as Satanisit's, in order to attempt to redirect the focus off of them, for their crimes. In this light, it would seem they would be more like a devil worshiper, than a Satanist. I do agree, it is getting old.
What a paradox. Satanism is called such, as it's the advasary of x-tianty...yet we seem to be the ones with a much higher standard and code of ethics. Things to make ya go HUMMM... Thank god I'm a Satanist!
