I haven't done so in a long time feeling I've moved past that stage. However I statred doing some small stuff lately to see if it would charge my battery and it has. I'm having fun concocting these mini psychodramas to charge my battery. Who'd a thought?

what I meant was that I don't crack open the SB and riddle off keys and invocations. Instead I try to be original, writing my own shit and all. No black robes either, just me, a notebook and a couple candles in a dark room (or outdoors when the weather allows). Besides, as you say Leo, ritualizing is about "charging your battery." Anything that serves that purpose for you I consider to be ritual. It could be anything, from sitting in front of a baphomet jerking off, to working you ass off in the gym, to smoking a joint and eating a box of twinkies, to reading your kids a bedtime story.

Do what you have to do in order to inspire yourself.

i think the last organized ritual that i did consisted of myself, my laptop, my wolf's head daggar, a broken Jager bottle, and my (then newly) ex-girlfriend's belt. i don't really recall the purpose of the ritual, but she did call me the next day demanding her belt back. Perhaps i was trying to kill her, but i don't think i could ever do that to a pregnant woman. No, i'll leave that to the Christians. i was most likely just wanting her to come get the rest of her shit. And in that case, i was successfull.

Other than that... i do several unorganized rituals throughout the day. Every time i go out on the iron i find myself doing constant rituals to calm myself. i do my "don't fall" rituals. My "don't drop anything" rituals. Even my "don't lock up, hug an i-beam, and cry to yourself untill they come rescue you" rituals.

Something about working 200'+ off the ground that makes you grasp for any sort of confidence in yourself that you can muster.

In a way I do ritual every day. I mediate and do yoga on a daily bases. To me this is a form of ritual. As for big rituals like what is in the SB and SR. I do not do ritual in that form very often.
